Facility:
This regional medical center is a well-established healthcare system serving two facility locations in southern New Jersey, providing comprehensive surgical and gynecological services to the community. The facility operates at a Trauma Level 3 designation and utilizes advanced robotic surgical technology, offering providers an opportunity to work within a modern, well-supported inpatient surgical environment.
Opportunity:
Nurse Practitioner - Surgery - Gynecology
Job Details:
  • Seeking 1 Locum Advanced Practice Provider (NP with RNFA or PA) for Gynecology Surgery First Assist coverage across two facility locations in Pomona, NJ and Atlantic City, NJ
  • Coverage duration is approximately 6 months due to a vacancy
  • Inpatient OR setting with a day shift schedule, Monday through Friday
  • No call schedule required
  • Average of 2-6 surgical cases per day
  • Primary focus on robotic gynecological surgeries
  • First Assist Certification with Robotic experience is required
  • Provider will not work autonomously; supervising surgeon will be present during all cases
  • Patient population is adult
  • Documentation will be completed using Cerner/Oracle EMR; experience with Cerner is preferred
  • Active New Jersey State License required at time of submission; cannot be pending
  • Board Certification (AANP) required
  • BLS, ACLS, and ATLS or ATCN Certifications (AHA) required
  • NPDB Self-Query report required at time of presentation, pulled within 30 days
  • New graduates will not be considered; relevant experience is required
  • Estimated credentialing timeframe is 2-3 months
  • Mileage reimbursed at the IRS standard rate
