Physician Assistant (PA-C) / Nurse Practitioner (NP) – URGENT HIRE

Specialties: Surgery, Oncology, Wound Care, & Colorectal Surgery

Location: San Antonio, TX 78234 (In-Person)

Role Overview

We are seeking a highly skilled and dedicated Physician Assistant or Nurse Practitioner for an immediate opening within our surgical and oncology departments. This is a full-time contract position providing critical outpatient care. You will work in a high-demand environment, performing clinical assessments, diagnostics, and surgical support within a multidisciplinary team.

Qualifications & Requirements

To be considered for this urgent opening, candidates must meet the following criteria:

    1. Education & Certification
  • Graduate of an accredited Master’s program (PA or NP).
  • Board Certified (NCCPA for PAs; ANCC or AANP for NPs).
  • Current BLS and ALS certifications from the American Heart Association (AHA).
  • Foreign Medical Graduates: Must possess a valid ECFMG certificate.
    1. 2. Licensure
  • Active & Unrestricted Medical License in any U.S. State, DC, or Territory.
  • Current DEA Registration (must correspond with the medical license).
    1. 3. Experience
  • Minimum of 2 years of experience within the last 2 years as a PA or NP.
  • At least 1 year of experience in a clinical setting is required.
  • Preferred: Prior experience in government healthcare facilities or public health.
    1. 4. Clinical Skills
  • Expertise in clinical assessment, diagnostics, and wound care.
  • Proficiency with EHR systems (Electronic Health Records).
