Job description

Job Summary

The Family Nurse Practitioner (FNP) provides primary care services to clinic patients in accordance with established clinical guidelines and protocols. The FNP works under the supervision of a licensed physician and collaborates with clinic providers to ensure high-quality patient care.

The FNP is responsible for assessing, diagnosing, and managing patient treatment plans. While guidance and consultation are available from supervising physicians, the FNP maintains accountability for clinical decisions, including initiating or modifying treatment plans.

Qualifications

Education

  • Completion of an accredited Nurse Practitioner program.
  • Current and active California license as a Registered Nurse (RN) and Nurse Practitioner (NP).
  • Successful completion of a Nurse Practitioner program that meets California Board of Registered Nursing (BRN) standards.
  • Current national certification from one of the following:
    • American Nurses Credentialing Center (ANCC)
    • American Academy of Nurse Practitioners (AANP)
    • Pediatric Nursing Certification Board (PNCB)
    • National Certification Corporation (NCC)

Requirements:
Primary Care Clinic experience required, will see patients from newborns to geriatrics,

Schedule - 4, 10 hour shifts with every other Saturday

Strongly prefer English/Spanish bilingual
