Your Role and Responsibilities
  • Conducting thorough patient evaluations, ordering necessary diagnostic tests, and creating personalized care strategies
  • Diagnosing and managing acute, chronic, or episodic health issues independently or in collaboration with attending physicians
  • Providing education to patients and their families regarding prevention, wellness, and ongoing disease management
  • Prescribing treatments and medications as permitted within your scope of practice
  • Engaging in patient follow-up, emphasizing chronic care and management
  • Collaborating within multidisciplinary teams to ensure integrated, comprehensive care
  • Accurately documenting patient information in electronic medical records (EMR)
Qualifications and Requirements
  • Master of Science in Nursing (MSN) or Doctor of Nursing Practice (DNP)
  • Graduation from an accredited Nurse Practitioner program
Certifications Required
  • Active Nurse Practitioner licensure in the state of Utah
  • National certification as a Family Nurse Practitioner (FNP-C, AANP or ANCC) or equivalent in your specialty
  • Basic Life Support (BLS) and Advanced Cardiovascular Life Support (ACLS) certifications (or ability to secure within 90 days)
