Location: Portland, Oregon
Schedule: 7 Days On / 7 Days Off
Position Overview:
We are seeking a dedicated and compassionate Internal Medicine Nurse Practitioner (NP) to join our dynamic healthcare team in Portland, Oregon. This hospitalist role focuses on rounding on patients in an acute care facility, providing high-quality patient care in collaboration with our medical team. Key Responsibilities:
  • Round on patients in an acute care facility, ensuring comprehensive and continuous care.
  • Work collaboratively with physicians, nurses, and other healthcare professionals to develop and implement patient care plans.
  • Conduct assessments, order and interpret diagnostic tests, and prescribe medications.
  • Provide patient education and counseling on diagnosis, treatments, and health maintenance.
  • Participate in daily multidisciplinary rounds to discuss patient progress and coordinate discharge planning.
