What is a nurse practitioner injector?

A Nurse Practitioner Injector is a licensed healthcare provider trained to perform cosmetic and medical injections, such as Botox, dermal fillers, and other aesthetic treatments. They assess patients, develop treatment plans, and administer injections to enhance facial aesthetics or address medical concerns. To thrive as a Nurse Practitioner Injector, you need a current nurse practitioner license, strong clinical and aesthetic assessment skills, and in-depth knowledge of facial anatomy and injectable procedures. Certification in cosmetic injectables, experience with dermal fillers and neurotoxins, and familiarity with electronic health records (EHRs) are typically required.
