Description

American Traveler is hiring an RN for a fast-paced Observation Unit position requiring 1 year of travel nursing experience and a FL or compact RN license.

Details
  • Work in a fast-paced, 24-bed telemetry Observation Unit that serves as an extension of the Emergency Room
  • Care for a short-stay patient population with conditions including hypertensive urgency, stroke work-ups, titratable cardiac drips, acute infections, cardiac work-ups, and ESRD
  • Night shift schedule from 18:45-07:15
  • 36-48 hour contracts acceptable
  • Every other weekend required
  • Holiday coverage required per unit need
Requirements
  • Active FL or compact RN license required
  • Current BLS certification through AHA
  • Minimum 1 year of travel nursing experience required
  • Current license and primary source verification, including Nursys verification, required within 30 days prior to start
  • Must possess a US Social Security Number and provide a US home address
Additional Information
  • Deliver compassionate, clinically strong nursing care to short-stay observation patients
  • Radius rule applies, allowing local candidates at a reduced rate that varies by state
  • Discuss assignment extension with unit management approximately 45 days before contract end date
