What does a nurse injector do?

As a nurse injector, you administer injections to patients, usually as part of a cosmetic dermal treatment. You educate patients about their diagnosis and treatment plan, talk about the benefits and risks of a proposed treatment plan, explain the alternatives, and write prescriptions. Many nurse injectors specialize in Botox treatments, but some also qualify to inject other substances as part of a treatment plan. Depending on the company, you may be asked to recommend or demonstrate retail products, ensure each treatment room is show ready, ensure the facility has enough supplies for each treatment, and answer any questions that are asked.

What are the key skills and qualifications needed to thrive as a nurse injector, and why are they important?

To thrive as a Nurse Injector, you need a current RN or LPN/LVN license, a solid understanding of facial anatomy, and specialized training in cosmetic injectables. Familiarity with injection techniques, dermal fillers, neuromodulators like Botox, and knowledge of safety protocols and aesthetic documentation systems is essential. Exceptional attention to detail, patient communication, and a commitment to ongoing education help you stand out in this role. These skills ensure safe, effective, and satisfying cosmetic outcomes for clients while maintaining the highest standards of patient care.

What are some common challenges nurse injectors face when starting in aesthetic practices, and how can they overcome them?

New Nurse Injectors often face challenges such as mastering injection techniques, building patient trust, and staying current with evolving products and procedures. To overcome these, it's helpful to seek mentorship from experienced injectors, participate in hands-on training sessions, and regularly attend workshops or conferences. Developing strong communication skills also helps in educating patients and managing expectations, which is essential for building lasting client relationships and a successful practice.

Nurse injectors can earn a competitive salary, often ranging from $30,000 to over $70,000 annually depending on experience, location, and the number of procedures performed. Many also earn additional income through bonuses or commissions, especially when working in private clinics or aesthetic practices. Aesthetic Nurse Injector

B WELL Med Spa
Full-Time or Part-Time | RN, NP, or PA
Starting at $40/hour + Commission + Performance Bonuses

Love Aesthetics? Love People? Love to Sell What You Believe In?

B WELL Med Spa is growing, and we’re looking for a high-energy, confident, sales-minded Aesthetic Nurse Injector to join our team!

This is not a role for someone who simply wants to come in, inject, and go home. We are looking for someone who loves building relationships, creating comprehensive treatment plans, educating patients, recommending the right services and products, and helping patients look and feel their absolute best.

If you thrive in a fun, fast-paced environment, love aesthetics, and get excited about growing your book of business — we want to meet you!

What You'll Be Doing
  • Perform aesthetic consultations and develop personalized, comprehensive treatment plans

  • Provide injectable treatments including Botox/Dysport and other neuromodulators, dermal fillers, and biostimulatory treatments

  • Educate patients on treatment options, skincare, maintenance, and long-term aesthetic goals

  • Recommend additional services and products when appropriate to help patients achieve the best possible results

  • Build strong, lasting patient relationships that drive retention, referrals, and rebooking

  • Maintain thorough and accurate patient documentation

  • Take high-quality before-and-after photos and help document patient results

  • Participate in events, promotions, open houses, and other practice growth initiatives

  • Collaborate with the B WELL team to create an exceptional patient experience from start to finish

  • Stay current on aesthetic trends, techniques, products, and industry best practices

  • Support practice goals and take ownership of individual performance and production

Who We're Looking For

Our ideal candidate is:

  • A licensed RN, NP, or PA

  • Experienced in aesthetic injectables

  • Confident, outgoing, and comfortable educating and selling

  • Motivated by goals and excited about growing their patient base

  • Warm, personable, professional, and FUN

  • Comfortable recommending comprehensive treatment plans rather than focusing on a single service

  • A team player who brings positive energy to the practice

  • Organized, dependable, and committed to providing an exceptional patient experience

  • Interested in continued education and growing their skill

  • Laser experience is PLUS but not required

Compensation & Benefits

  • Starting at $40/hour, based on experience

  • Commission opportunities

  • Performance-based bonuses

  • Full-time or part-time opportunities available

  • 401(k)

  • Paid Time Off (PTO)

  • Employee discounts on services and products

  • Ongoing opportunities for training, education, and professional growth

  • A supportive, energetic team and a practice that wants to see you succeed

Why B WELL?

At B WELL, we believe aesthetics should be exciting, personal, and results-driven — and we want our team to enjoy coming to work just as much as our patients enjoy coming to see us.

We are looking for someone who wants to build something, not simply fill a schedule. If you're passionate about aesthetics, naturally sales-minded, love connecting with patients, and want your hard work and performance to be rewarded, this could be the perfect fit.

Ready to grow with B WELL? We'd love to meet you!

Apply today and tell us a little about your aesthetic experience, your favorite treatments to perform, and what you're looking for in your next practice.
