Externships are designed to bridge the gap between classroom education and real-world nursing, providing exposure to various specialties and fostering valuable mentorship connections. This experience often enhances your confidence and prepares you for a smoother transition into a full-time nursing role after graduation.

What are the key skills and qualifications needed to thrive as a nurse extern, and why are they important?
