  • Clinical and Skills Training: Provide expert practical demonstrations, supervise skill-building exercises, and prepare students for real-world patient care scenarios through simulation and practice.
  • Classroom & Lab Management: Create and maintain an organized, interactive learning environment, including managing equipment and supplies to ensure optimal learning experiences.
  • Student Evaluation: Assess student performance through meaningful in-class participation, comprehensive lab skills demonstrations, and thorough clinical evaluations.
  • Compliance & Standards: Uphold Holt Health Academy policies and D.C. Board of Nursing guidelines to maintain instructional excellence and regulatory compliance.

  • Minimum 5 years of nursing experience in diverse healthcare settings
  • At least 1 year of experience caring for the elderly or chronically ill (within the past 5 years)
  • Enthusiasm for curriculum development and program building
  • Completion of "Train the Trainer" (16-hour Principles of Adult Education) course or 2+ years of teaching experience
  • Strong communication and leadership skills, with a passion for in-person teaching and mentoring diverse student populations
Why Join V-Tech on this Journey?
  • Be a founding instructor at an innovative healthcare training institution in Washington, D.C., with the opportunity to leave your mark on healthcare education
  • Shape the future of nursing education by developing a program curriculum from the ground up
  • Engage in meaningful, hands-on instruction with modern equipment and relevant real-world case studies
  • Work in a collaborative, supportive environment committed to both student and instructor success
  • Make a lasting impact on healthcare in the D.C. community by training compassionate, skilled nursing assistants
