The Opportunity

We are seeking a highly analytical, business-minded Shopper & Category Insights Manager to drive data-led decision making and shape growth strategies across our pediatric nutrition business, with a strong focus on retail execution and shopper behavior across key customers.

This role goes beyond reporting-you will translate syndicated, shopper, and retail insights into clear business strategies, influence cross-functional decisions, and proactively identify opportunities for category and brand growth. You will partner closely with Sales, Category Management, and Brand teams to turn data into action

What You'll Do

In this role, you will have several distinct responsibilities and priorities:

  • Design and execute shopper & category learning plans (qualitative and quantitative), with coaching from the Sr. Manager. Translate insights into clear, actionable recommendations that drive business decisions - not just summaries of results.

  • Pull, synthesize, and analyze syndicated data sources (e.g., Nielsen, Circana, Numerator, Scintilla) to uncover key trends and develop clear points of view, delivered through visually compelling presentations.

  • Effectively communicate insights from all work to internal teams by distilling results to essential learning and actionable recommendations that enable rapid decisions.

  • Lead ad-hoc analyses and projects in support of team and business priorities.

  • Monitor and report category performance, conducting regular business reviews to identify growth opportunities and potential risks.

  • Apply shopper and category insights to selling stories, developing presentations that support sell-in initiatives and address retailer questions and competitive dynamics

Required Qualifications

  • 5+ years' experience in analyzing and interpreting data within either consumer-packaged goods or retailer industry.

  • A team player - solution oriented, thrives working alongside teammates toward common business goals.

  • Demonstrated storytelling skills and ability to influence stakeholders across the organization.

  • A self-starter, able to work independently and build connections with key stakeholders on projects

  • Proficient level knowledge of syndicated data source(s): Nielsen/ IRI, Numerator, Stratum, Luminate

Working Environment

Location: Columbus, OH

Hybrid style: (4 days in the office, 1 day remote)

Occasional travel for industry conferences and sales meetings (2x a year)

$99,300.00 - $198,700.00
