Job description

Nuclear Medicine Supervisor FT Days
Req Id: 64872
Job Summary:
Supervises staff and daily operations of the Nuclear Medicine Department. Provides patient services using the imaging modality of Nuclear Medicine. Performs Nuclear Medicine procedures at a technical level. Demonstrates by example and nurtures in staff the standards for Service Excellence so that the standards represent minimum accepted behavior. Plan, direct and coordinate the operations of the Nuclear Medicine Department. Manage staff for optimum performance. Rounds on staff to achieve patient satisfaction.

Hours: 8:00am - 4:00pm
Job Essentials: The ideal candidate will meet the following requirements and competencies.
  • Must be a graduate of an accredited Nuclear Medicine program after completion of RN, ARRT, or BS program.
  • Must have a minimum of 3 years' experience as a Nuclear Medicine technologist
  • Minimum of 1 year supervisory experience preferred.
  • Must be ARRT certified in Nuclear Medicine or a CNMT and hold a current NJ State License.
  • Must possess communication and leadership skills including organization and planning skills
  • Required to maintain CPR and CE's

Education Requirements:
  • Completion of RN, ARRT, or BS program.
  • Graduate of an accredited Nuclear Medicine program required.
