The Nuclear Medicine Technologist operates nuclear detection and imaging equipment and prepares radiopharmaceuticals for Nuclear Radiologic studies by following professional and departmental protocols to provide the physician diagnostic images to identify and/or plan appropriate treatment for the patient's condition. Qualifications:
- Graduate of approved program for Nuclear Medicine Technologist
- Has completed all clinical competency, classroom training and passed a certification board (CNMT (NMTCB)(CT), R.T.(N)(CT)(ARRT), or RTRCT) allowing you to operate a hybrid nuclear medicine system. Or has completed all clinical competency, classroom training and passed a certification board (CNMT (NMTCB), R.T.(N)(ARRT) will be required to obtain a CT Advanced certification by ARRT,NMTCB or RTRCT within 1 year of hire (with the support of our CT training pathway).
- 1-2 years Nuclear Tech, PET/ CT, and SPECT/CT tech preferred.
