We are seeking a talented Area Sales Manager to join our team.
This is a fully remote position open to candidates located in Canada or in the following US states: Florida, Georgia, Texas, Massachusetts, New Hampshire, New Jersey, Ohio, Oregon, Tennessee.

SUMMARY OF THE JOB

The Area Sales & Business Development Manager (ASM) is responsible for maintaining and expanding Gutor UPS's market share within the nuclear power industry, with a focus on nuclear sales, customer development, customer service, and strategic key accounts within the assigned territory.

The ASM is responsible for deploying Gutor global strategy in their respective area, developing and executing action plans with structured and planned sales activities toward sustainable and profitable orders intake and sales of Gutor offer based on the established and new business models and go-to-market approaches.

The ASM will assess existing market potential, identify new customers and applications, develop new business opportunities, and expand ORG's presence across the nuclear market. The role will focus on building long-term relationships with nuclear utilities, EPCs, engineering firms, consultants, and other key industry stakeholders

The ASM will help secure Gutor's success by ensuring a best-in-class customer experience throughout the entire customer lifecycle -from marketing and sales activities through tendering, project execution and after-sales service and customer support.

MAIN RESPONSIBILITIES

The role will report directly to the US Sales Director:

  • Formulate strategies to meet diverse market demands and company growth targets

  • Understand the segment value chain by mapping the key customers, consultants, EPC, and influencers and develop long term relationships within those organizations.

  • Perform technical and sales presentation as required.

  • Meeting with customers engineering and technical teams to communicate and promote Gutor value proposition within customers decision makers responsible for technical requirements and compliance, assets` total cost of ownership and sustainability aspects.

  • Preparing technical and commercial quotations (with the support of Tendering team) for FEED, EPC stage bid to bid and Firm EPC bid to buy stages of targeted projects in his respective regions and close cooperation with other Gutor regions for ensuring ownership and coordinating efforts in international projects (with stakeholders- end users, multiple EPC located in different regions).

  • Win the targeted projects in accordance with Gutor sales guidance

  • To collaborate within the Gutor Sales Team by sharing knowledge, experience, and best practices

  • Consistently searching for feedback on Gutor performance from existing customers and sharing this information within Gutor / Collaborate with other internal departments to ensure continuous customer relations

  • Attentively follow market trend and key competition movements to anticipate and adjust sales tactics to increase Gutor market share and protect existing installed base and long-term partnership with customers.

  • Rigorously use reporting tools as the source and archive for all data, actions commitments and tracking of business

  • Ensure monthly, quarterly, and annual orders target achievement

REQUIRED QUALIFICATIONS

  • Bachelor's Degreein Business Administration, Sales, Marketing, Engineering or a related field. Graduation from the U.S. Navy Nuclear Power School may also be considered in lieu of a traditional degree.

  • Minimum 5 years of sales and/or business development experience in the electrical power equipment, industrial automation, or related industrial technology sector.

  • Experience working with the nuclear power industry, including nuclear power plants (NPPs), utilities, EPCs, engineering firms, or other organizations supporting the nuclear industry.

  • Experience with one or more of the following electrical equipment or technology areas is strongly preferred:

    • Generators

    • Transformers

    • Switchgear

    • Electrical distribution and protection equipment

    • Protection and control systems

    • Industrial automation

  • Demonstrated success in developing new business, expanding existing customer relationships, and achieving sales and/or order intake targets.

  • Familiarity with nuclear quality including NQA-1 and 10 CFR 50 Appendix B.

  • Strong technical knowledge of electrical systems and components used in nuclear power facilities.

  • Knowledge of nuclear equipment qualification requirements and processes, including seismic, EMC, temperature, humidity, and radiation testing.

TRAVEL REQUIRED
