Job Description The purpose of this position is to provide the essential administrative processes, technical knowledge, and direction as listed. This position has oversight of a specific area and acts as a representative of the department ensuring technical accuracy in project execution in all phases. This role has the responsibility to promote Fluor's competitiveness within the global marketplace by delivering quality services of unmatched value and technical competence.

This position serves as an Architectural Area Lead or Lead on assigned projects or performs complex architectural assignments, evaluates, selects and applies advanced architectural techniques to a broad set of complex assignments. Translate global strategic initiatives into procedures to be implemented on projects Apply Cost Competitive Execution techniques and develop the most cost-effective total project solution for the discipline engineering work Develop and review project Scope of Services, Scope of Facilities, and other project baseline documents for all phases of projects Develop estimates and schedules, progress reports, including workforce forecasts Establish, track, and monitor material key quantities; provide analysis and forecasts Develop and review specifications, including design criteria Other duties as assigne Basic Job Requirements Bachelor's degree in Architecture Proficiency in AutoCAD and REVIT is required. Advanced 3D software modeling experience is required Demonstrated experience utilizing building and life safety codes, such as IBC, IECC, NFPA, ADAAG, OSHA Demonstrated experience utilizing materials and details used in commercial and industrial building designs Experience working collaboratively with other disciplines and clients Experience in reviewing design drawings created by others, including vendor documents, construction shop drawings and manufacturer drawings and data sheets Other Job Requirements US Citizen or Green Card holder with current or past clearance to work on nuclear projects Documented Experience with past nuclear power projects Familiar with Safety & Radiation requirements and working with health physicists Experience with radiation and access control requirements Knowledge of Louver designs for nuclear reactors and nuclear plant buildings and plant security system requirements Experience with Door designs for nuclear reactors and nuclear plant buildings and plant security system requirements Familiar with US NRC requirements Experience with design of control room CAS (Central Alarm Station) and SAS (Secondary Alarm Station) facilities including bullet resistant requirements Familiar with Nuclear coating systems and contamination systems Experience with design of penetration seals Experience with roofing systems for nuclear radiation.

Experience with Fireproofing of nuclear related structures. Familiar with Preliminary Safety Analysis Reports (PSAR), Environmental Reports and Final Safety Analysis Reports (FSAR) Experience with special nuclear paints and coatings Familiar with surveillance cameras and systems. PTZ and static and their integration into nuclear building designs Familiar with ALARA safety programs Able to prepare Radiation Zoning drawings Familiar with Barrier design for varying nuclear conditions Experience with design of seismic ceilings in the main control room and other seismic impacts for nuclear facilities Preferred Qualifications Advanced knowledge of discipline codes and standards, commercial availability and cost of materials, means and methods of construction Effort-hour estimating and staff forecasting Managing and leading a large project Project set-up, developing control-level schedules, progress reporting, and project close-out Practical field experience Professional architectural registration Membership and active participation in external technical society Intermediate computer and software skills to include the use of word processing, e-mail, spreadsheet and electronic presentation programs Ability to use discipline specific software may be required We are an equal opportunity employer.
