Job description

Nuclear Medicine / Nuclear Radiologist

Virtua Radiology is seeking a Nuclear Medicine / Nuclear Radiologist to support our growing molecular imaging services. This role offers a mix of nuclear medicine and diagnostic radiology in a collaborative environment.

Position Highlights

  • Interpretation of PET/CT, SPECT, and general nuclear medicine studies
  • Remote and on-site work opportunities available
  • Integration with oncology, cardiology, and multidisciplinary teams
  • Modern imaging equipment and supportive technical staff
  • Shared call structure

Responsibilities

  • Interpret nuclear medicine and PET imaging studies
  • Participate in diagnostic radiology coverage as appropriate
  • Participate in multidisciplinary conferences as appropriate
  • Collaborate with referring physicians to support clinical decision-making
  • Maintain quality and regulatory compliance

Qualifications

  • MD or DO; Board Certified or Board Eligible in Diagnostic Radiology or Nuclear Medicine
  • Fellowship training or significant experience in Nuclear Radiology preferred

Compensation Transparency In compliance with New Jersey pay transparency laws, all physician roles include a posted minimum base salary. The minimum base salary for this position is $560,000.00 per year. Final compensation will be competitive and commensurate with experience, qualifications, and prevailing market factors.
