Job Summary and Qualifications

This position supports the mission of H CA HealthONE of optimizing the quality of life of all those served by expanding beyond the traditional focus on medical needs to the needs of the whole person. Under the supervision of the Nuclear Imaging Director, performs simple and complex radionuclide diagnostic procedures for patients ages adolescents through geriatric. Performs all calibrations and quality control on equipment and maintains accurate records. Responsible for maintaining expert technical and patient-care skills and provides quality diagnostic results. Responsible for supply/inventory management. Quality Improvement activities, and the maintenance of a Radioactive Materials License. When need arises, will perform other duties as assigned by supervisor.

What Qualifications You Will Need:
  • Completion of an AMA approved Nuclear Medicine training program. Current certification by NMTCB or ARRT (N). Must maintain current registry. Attends continuing education activities to maintain knowledge and skill level. Must maintain BLS, ACLS recommended.
  • Completion of an AMA approved Nuclear Medicine training program. Current certification by NMTCB or ARRT (N).
  • Prefer 3-6 years recent hospital Nuclear Medicine experience including nuclear cardiology. Skills commensurate with formal training requirements.
  • Basic Cardiac Life Support must be obtained within 30 days of employment start date
  • Certificate (CNMT) Certified Nuclear Medicine Technologist, or (ARRT-R) Radiography
