Sterling Engineering is looking for a Senior Mechanical Engineer to support commercial nuclear engineering projects. This opportunity is with a leading engineering services organization supporting nuclear power plant design and modifications.

Job Duties:
  • Design and modify critical mechanical components to meet strict engineering specifications.
  • Lead technical reviews of calculations and design deliverables.
  • Provide technical leadership and mentorship within project teams.
  • Participate in detailed technical discussions with clients and stakeholders.
  • Support engineering analysis, documentation, and compliance activities.
  • Travel occasionally to client or project locations.
Qualifications:
  • Bachelorโ€™s degree in Mechanical Engineering from an ABET-accredited program.
  • 7+ years of progressively responsible experience in commercial nuclear engineering.
