Job description

American Traveler is hiring a Nuclear Medicine Technologist for a 13-week assignment in Jacksonville, FL, requiring PET/CT and/or Nuclear Cardiology experience.
Job Details
• On-site clinical setting within a hospital Radiology department, Nuclear Medicine unit,
• 40 hours per week, 8-hour shifts, 5 days per week,
• Schedule is Monday through Friday, 7:00 AM to 3:30 PM,
• Uses Epic for EMR charting,
• On-site work required with no teleworking option,
• Patient-facing role with direct patient access,
Job Requirements
• Minimum of 1 year of experience in Nuclear Medicine required,
• PET/CT and/or Nuclear Cardiology experience required,
• CNMT certification or ARRT (N) Nuclear Medicine certification required,
• Florida License in Nuclear Medicine required - license required if applicable,
• BLS certification required within 90 days of start date,
• Associate's degree preferred,
• Experience operating PET/CT scanner and/or performing Nuclear Cardiology Cardiolite perfusion scans preferred,
• Strong patient care and teamwork skills required,

• Produces high-quality diagnostic images meeting departmental standards,
• Requires competence with a variety of nuclear medicine equipment and technology,
• Follows safety guidelines for patients, staff, and self,
• Fosters teamwork through effective communication within a large team,
• Maintains flexibility to staff at various work locations, shift times, and shift lengths,
• COVID vaccination and booster required for consideration,
• First-time travelers will be considered for this position,
