SHIFT: 2nd Shift

POSITION: Supervisor

LOCATION: Onsite Line 1 ESSENTIAL DUTIES/ RESPONSIBILITIES:
  • Support business plan goals; develop and monitor tasks to ensure goals are achieved.
  • Ensure appropriate manpower planning and budgeting for efficient operations are in place and required resources are available to meet customer and corporate requirements.
  • Provide leadership and guidance to all members of the department.
  • Solve problems and resolve issues and concerns that impact operational performance (quality, safety, finance, associate relations).
  • Maintain inventory accuracy.
  • Manage departmental new model activities.
  • Maintain all regulatory and compliance requirements of the department
  • Ensure consistent and professional communication with our customer and associates at all times.
  • Manage projects and provide guidance when needed.
  • Develop section leaders and associates.
  • Monitor safety results and report as needed; assist in the development of safety related countermeasures.
  • Anticipate potential problems and apply solutions and preventative measures
  • Act as a role model for all associates in all aspects of the job (safety, production, quality, attendance, housekeeping, etc.)
  • Achieve daily production targets.
  • Continuously improve overall department content and activities.
  • Ensure all daily and monthly reports are completed on time.
  • Communicate effectively to peers and Assistant Manager.

  • 5+ years experience in a warehouse management environment or other management areas.
  • Proven experience leading and motivating teams in manufacturing or warehouse environment.
  • Able to interact professionally within the company with our customer and associates.
  • Able to lead project teams and present information to management
  • Excellent communication and organizational skills.
  • Must be able and willing to work any shift, hours, holidays, weekends or overtime as needed
