About the job:
Join the Wireless Connectivity System Validation team supporting AR and wearable products. You'll validate RF design and product certification across Cellular, Wi-Fi, Bluetooth, GPS, and NFC, and drive automation, data analysis, and reporting. This role requires strong technical skills, effective communication, and the ability to manage complex stakeholder relationships.
What You will Do:
  • Develop and execute test plans for RF validation (Cellular, Wi-Fi, Bluetooth, GPS, NFC) and regulatory standards (FCC, IC, CE, JP, KR).
  • Operate and maintain advanced RF test stations and lab equipment.
  • Build Python scripts for test automation, data analysis, and reporting.
  • Generate clear, actionable validation reports for internal and external stakeholders.
  • Communicate clearly and proactively with cross-functional partners, including RF architects, systems engineers, electrical design engineers, and factory test teams.
  • Present findings and updates in meetings and written reports; document lessons learned and best practices.
  • Effectively manage multiple stakeholder DRIs, drive alignment, resolve conflicts, and ensure timely delivery.
  • Prioritize tasks, escalate blockers, and deliver results in a fast-paced environment.
  • Mentor and coach team members, contributing to team growth and knowledge sharing.
  • Demonstrate organizational efficiency by simplifying work, streamlining operations, and maintaining high standards of quality and inclusivity.

Work Experience
What You Will Bring:
  • Bachelor or Master of Science degree in Electrical Engineering or Computer Science or equivalent work experience
  • 3-5 years of relevant professional experience, specifically in the areas of cellular connectivity and GPS navigation systems in the consumer electronics industry.
  • Deep understanding of cellular technologies: GSM, UMTS, LTE, 5G NR (including SA/NSA modes).
  • Hands-on experience with carrier aggregation, VoLTE, VoWiFi, and eSIM testing.
  • Familiarity with SIM card profiles, APN configuration, and network registration procedures.
  • Knowledge of RF performance metrics: RSSI, RSRP, RSRQ, SINR, throughput, handover, and call setup.
  • Experience with field testing, drive testing, and lab-based cellular network emulators (e.g., Anritsu, Rohde & Schwarz, Keysight).
  • Strong knowledge of GNSS systems: GPS, GLONASS, Galileo, BeiDou.
  • Experience with GPS receiver validation, including TTFF (Time To First Fix), accuracy, sensitivity, and multipath mitigation.
  • Familiarity with GPS simulation tools and signal generators (e.g., Spirent, Rohde & Schwarz).

Additional preferred skills:
  • Experience with device certification for major carriers (AT&T, Verizon, T-Mobile, international operators).
  • Familiarity with 3GPP test cases and conformance testing.
  • Understanding of SAR, OTA, and regulatory requirements for cellular devices.
  • Experience with troubleshooting network interoperability issues in multi-vendor environments.

Pay Range: $100,000 - $130,000 yearly
Compensation decisions are made based on factors including experience, skills, education, and other job-related factors, in accordance with our internal pay structure. We also offer a comprehensive benefits package, including health insurance, paid time off, and retirement plan.
Work Requirements:
This role is considered an on-site position located in Sunnyvale, CA
You must be able to commute to and from the location with your own transportation arrangements to meet the required working hours.
Travel requirements: Due to the nature of the work, no travel is required.
