Job description

PRS Auto is hiring immediately for individuals to unload (drive) new automobiles off of Railcars working at the Norfolk Southern (NS) Ayer, MA rail terminal! No experience is required in this entry level position as we offer On the Job Training and will teach you everything you need to know in order to be successful on the job.
This is an entry-level position with the opportunity for growth for individuals who are interested in a career in the rail industry.  We have multiple locations throughout the country and pride ourselves on promoting qualified individuals for future Advancement.
APPLICANTS MUST currently live within a 45-minute commute of Ayer, MA. OUT OF AREA candidates and/or those requiring relocation will NOT be considered.
You'll typically work first shift, however, our schedules vary and you must be flexible for start and finish times.  Also, you must be available during weekends and holidays.
SAFETY IS OUR #1 GOAL.
Starting Rate is $24/hr.

Applicants for the Railroad Auto Unloader position must meet the general requirements for employment with the company, according to the Company hiring process which includes:
  • Possess a valid Driver's License.
  • Must be able to pass a 7-year background check and a drug test.
  • Must be able to work outside in all weather conditions, lift up to 50lbs above your head, and climb various heights (Not afraid of heights). 
  • No GED or High School diploma is required.  

You will be employed by PRS Auto and will not be an employee of the Railroad.
