Job description

Zachary Piper Solutions is seeking a Program Manager to support a company focused on advanced aerospace and defense manufacturing and production programs. This position is on-site in Cincinnati, OH. The Program Manager will lead end-to-end program execution, with a strong emphasis on new product development, engineering leadership, and production scale-up. This is a high-impact, mission-driven role where you will directly influence cutting-edge defense initiatives and help shape product lines ahead of a key growth phase. Responsibilities for the Program Manager include: * Lead new product development programs from concept through full-rate production, including commercialization and industrialization
* Drive cross-functional coordination across engineering, manufacturing, supply chain, finance, and customer-facing teams
* Own integrated program schedules, risk identification, and mitigation strategies while resolving complex technical and operational issues
* Oversee production readiness, capacity planning, and material execution to support product launches and manufacturing ramp-up
* Deliver executive-level reporting, manage customer communications, and take ownership of product performance and continuous improvement
Required Qualifications for the Program Manager include: * 8+ years of experience in program management, engineering, or operations within aerospace, defense, or highly regulated manufacturing environments
* Experience with ERP, MRP, and/or MES systems supporting production and supply chain execution
* Strong leadership, cross-functional coordination, risk management, and executive communication skills; able to challenge teams and operate in high-accountability environments
* Bachelor's degree in Engineering (mechanical, industrial, structural, or related field required)
* Ability to obtain a security clearance
