ESSENTIAL JOB FUNCTIONS:

  • Lead daily safety and ergo briefing and stretching exercises.
  • Make Safety a priority.
  • Lead Team meetings and be the communications source for the team.
  • Lead 6S workouts for the team and maintain 6S in work area.
  • Ensure all operators have PPE; Review JSI and Required PPE with new team
  • members; and housekeeping & supplies.
  • Report any unsafe hazards or conditions to BTL or EHS Rep.
  • Take ownership for updating JSIs and managing production schedules.
  • Input equipment and safety Work Orders and notify proper personnel to keep
  • equipment, fixtures, and tools in good shape; ensure all are operational.
  • Make sure operators do not get behind.
  • Report any parts issues to Process Leader and work with Line Loaders on
  • shortages; contact Quality Analyst when parts are bad.
  • Be certified on all CTQ jobs on the team and ensure CTQ stations have
  • certified operators.
  • Ensure quality and safety procedures are followed by the team.
  • Guide part-time members and utilities to cover for absenteeism and meetings.
  • Train operators & evaluate on performance.
  • Review Bills of Material and check for part changes.
  • Review and manage Team overtime and Scrap Budgets.
  • Model Basic Principles.
  • Support NPI program implementation (T-reviews, Manufacturing reviews, and

REQUIRED:

- High school diploma or G.E.D.

- Interpersonal skills

- Knowledge of assembly line parts and processes

- Able to perform all jobs on line

- Material Management System (MMS) and Operating Systems

- OJT certified

- Computer skills (Word, Excel, RC Menu, etc.)

- Be able to repair units
