Overall Responsibilities:
โ€ข Develop a keen understanding of the client's organization/strategies and use this knowledge to support account service plans that align with client objectives
โ€ข Supports the senior Client Development team to address day-to-day client needs, help build strong, long-term relationships with existing client contacts
โ€ข Assist in expanding the client base to include a broader mix of end-users and to uncover new buying centers
โ€ข Effectively use POS, Consumer and other NPD sources to help clients grow their business and gain market share.
โ€ข Prepare and deliver impactful and engaging presentations that weave NPD data sources together to tell a story that delivers value and provides actionable insight to NPD clients.
โ€ข Enhance manufacturer and retailer collaboration through the use of NPD Account Level Reports (ALRs) and other NPD tools in line reviews and joint business planning
Qualifications
โ€ข 2-5 years of experience in market research client servicing and sales.
โ€ข Bachelor's degree
โ€ข Toys and/or licensing industry knowledge a plus.
โ€ข Category Management / Brand Management experience within a manufacturer or retailer desired.
โ€ข Knowledge of consultative selling techniques and process desired.
โ€ข Demonstrated ability to work with POS/consumer panel data to generate impactful and engaging analyses and presentations.
โ€ข Ability to weave together diverse data sets into succinct, cohesive and impactful stories.
โ€ข Expert in all MS Office products, Excel, PowerPoint, & Word.
โ€ข Experienced proficiency in data access tools
โ€ข Ability to travel (typically 10% - 15%)
Communication
The ideal candidate must be able to conduct engaging and impactful presentations that deliver value to the client while telling a compelling story in a concise and polished manner to a diverse audience. Most importantly, the candidate must demonstrate the ability to listen to the customer and appropriately match the customer's needs with NPD's products and services, or be willing to direct the customer to the best solution.

The ideal candidate must be comfortable and effective when talking with a broad range of decision influencers and decision makers within an organization. The candidate will be able to effectively understand and build relationships throughout the prospective customer's organization.
