Job description

  • Organize, lead and deliver end-to-end projects for industrialization of new product introductions, large capital investment projects, and significant modernization projects
  • Deliver projects spanning concept through manufacturing validation and operational handoff
  • Support translation of innovation into robust, compliant, and manufacturable solutions for NPD projects
  • Lead cross-functional teams for non-NPD projects
  • Serve as the single point of contact and accountability for the Business Unit
  • Align technical talent across ISC Engineering functions and interface with Business Units and functional leaders
  • Execute projects across concept development, design transfer, equipment procurement, installation, qualification, and validation
  • Ensure cost, schedule, scope, performance, quality, regulatory, and safety commitments are met
  • Work within enterprise-standard governance frameworks, including the Stage-gate process
  • Serve as the escalation point for complex technical, operational, or organizational challenges
  • Indirectly lead cross-functional technical professionals responsible for process and equipment design and implementation
  • Establish project roadmaps, timelines, accountability, and decision-making processes
  • Integrate process, equipment, launch, and engineering services disciplines
  • Ensure manufacturing readiness, validation, documentation, training, and operational handoff
  • Champion design for manufacturability, standardization, and scalability
  • Ensure regulatory, quality, safety, and environmental compliance
  • Provide leadership through ramp-up and launch until operational targets are met
  • Report project KPIs, dashboards, and performance metrics
  • Lead or participate in continuous improvement initiatives to reduce risk and improve speed, cost, predictability, and integration
Requirements
  • Bachelor’s degree in Engineering, Science, or a related technical discipline
  • 10+ years of experience in engineering, program management, product development, or manufacturing operations within a large, matrixed organization
  • Proven success leading large-scale NPI and/or large capital investment projects
  • Demonstrated ability to indirectly lead a team of technical talent
  • Deep knowledge of product development, equipment design and validation, and manufacturing operations
  • Executive presence with the ability to influence, negotiate, and drive alignment across all stakeholders
  • Travel up to 30% domestic and international
  • Experience in medical technology, pharmaceutical, or other highly regulated industries preferred
  • Program management and CI/problem-solving certifications (PMI, CSM, Lean, Six Sigma, etc.) preferred
