Overview:

It's a spooky time of year, but it doesn't all have to be scary! Join our Entertainment team and help create a fun, family-friendly Halloween experience. We offer a variety of exciting positions, including Arts & Crafts Zone hosts, Trick-or-Treat Trail characters, activity hosts, and more throughout our children's area.

Responsibilities:
  • Ensure a positive, fun, and memorable experience for every guest.
  • Interact with families and children in a friendly, patient, and engaging manner.
  • Assist with daytime non-prize games, activities, and interactive experiences.
  • Distribute crafts, candy, and other event materials to guests.
  • Help manage guest flow and provide crowd control in designated areas.
  • Maintain a clean, organized, and safe work environment both in guest-facing areas and behind the scenes.
  • Follow all park safety policies and procedures while providing excellent guest service.
  • Perform other duties as assigned.

(For those looking for a fright-filled experience, there are also opportunities to work evening shifts assisting our haunted houses and scare actors.)

Payrate: $10.50/Hr.


Qualifications:

Availability Requirement

Must be able to work all operating days (Fridays–Sundays) from September 1, 2026, through November 1, 2026. Due to the limited operating season of Fright Fest, applicants are required to disclose any scheduling conflicts occurring between August and November during the interview process.

  • At least 16 years of age.
  • Patient, energetic, and comfortable interacting with children of all ages.
  • Friendly, positive attitude, strong work ethic, and outgoing personality.
  • Ability to create a fun, welcoming, and inclusive environment for all children and their families.
  • Excellent customer service and communication skills with guests, parents, and fellow team members.
  • Ability to work in an environment as fast-paced as our coasters.
  • Strong attention to detail and commitment to safety.
  • Ability to resolve guest concerns in a professional and courteous manner.
  • Ability to respond appropriately to emergency situations and maintain control until an area supervisor arrives.
  • Able to work weekends from September through November, including holidays.
  • Must be able to stand, walk, bend, stoop, kneel, reach, and lift throughout your shift.
  • Must be able to stand and/or walk for up to 6 hours at a time in varying weather conditions, including heat, cold, and rain.
  • Be comfortable working around strobe lights, fog, theatrical smoke, and other special effects.
  • Be able to carry 10–30 pounds of costumes or props.
  • Be willing to play multiple characters.
  • Be able to wear a latex mask, silicone mask, or special effects makeup for long periods.

Working Conditions:

  • Work may be indoors or outdoors at various times of day.
  • Shifts may include evenings, weekends, and holidays.
  • You'll have close interaction with park guests.
  • You'll use props, microphones, and other equipment.
  • The job involves standing, walking, lifting, and carrying.
