Shift: Weekend nights (Friday - Sunday with alternating Thursdays), 12 hours

As the Shift Supervisor, Weekend Nights, you will play a critical role in ensuring the safe, compliant, and efficient production of high-quality isotopes. Job Description

Key Responsibilities

  • Ensure the shop floor achieves safety, quality, productivity, throughput, and batch record review targets.
  • Lead shop floor meetings and adjust schedules and staffing to support manufacturing operations.
  • Maintain an audit-ready manufacturing environment through compliance, housekeeping, and inspection preparedness.
  • Provide daily on-floor leadership, coaching, and support to direct reports and production teams.
  • Ensure adherence to aseptic techniques, approved procedures, cGMP standards, and safety requirements.
  • Monitor performance metrics, prepare operational reports, communicate performance results, and drive continuous improvement initiatives.
  • Oversee associate training, development, performance management, and ongoing compliance with required curricula.

Essential Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree required, or 3 to 5 years of relevant experience in lieu of a degree.
  • 3 to 5 years of cGMP manufacturing experience; Radioligand Therapy experience preferred.
  • 1 to 2 years of leadership or supervisory experience supporting training and process compliance in daily operations.
  • Demonstrated understanding of pharmaceutical manufacturing processes, cGMP requirements, and regulatory expectations.
  • Experience using manufacturing systems such as SAP, Laboratory Information Management System, or Manufacturing Execution System.
  • Proven ability to drive quality, process improvement, and manufacturing performance objectives.

Desirable Requirements

  • Experience with Operational Excellence, project management, product or process development, or regulatory activities.
  • Experience supporting manufacturing business objectives through quality improvements and reduction of product write-offs.

The salary for this position is expected to range between $85,400 and $158,600 per year. The final salary offered is determined based on factors like, but not limited to, relevant skills and experience, and upon joining Novartis will be reviewed periodically. Novartis may change the published salary range based on company and market factors. Your compensation will include a performance-based cash incentive and, depending on the level of the role, eligibility to be considered for annual equity awards. US-based eligible employees will receive a comprehensive benefits package that includes health, life and disability benefits, a 401(k) with company contribution and match, and a variety of other benefits. In addition, employees are eligible for a generous time off package including vacation, personal days, holidays and other leaves.
