Join Our Team as a Child Care Lead Teacher I
Location: Presbyterian Child Development Center - Charlotte, NC
Hours: Full-Time | Monday-Friday: must be available between the hours of 6:00 AM - 6:30 PM

As a Child Care Lead Teacher at Novant Health's Presbyterian Child Development Center, you will play a critical role in delivering exceptional early childhood education and care.

Important Application Information:
Candidates must upload proof of DHHS Background Determination and Workforce/Status letters during the application process.
What We're Looking For:
  • Education: High School or GED, required. NC Credentials or equivalency plus 6 semester hours, required.
  • Experience: 1 year early childhood work experience with children up to 12 years of age, required.
  • Licensure/Certification:
    • NC Credentials or equivalency defined by regulatory compliance Division of Child Development Workforce Unit, required.
    • Adult and Pediatric CPR/First Aid within 2 months of hire, required.
    • ITS SIDS (Sudden Infant Death Syndrome) within 2 months of hire, required.
  • Additional Skills (required):
    • NC Division of Child Development Qualifying Letter/Criminal Background Check, renewed every 5 years.
    • BSAC if working with school age children.
    • CDL license (if hired for driving buses) and working with school age children.• NC Division of Child Development Qualifying Letter/Criminal Background letter • NC Division of Child Development Workforce letter within 2 months of hire • NC Institute for Child Development Professional ECE Certification within 2 months of hire
    • CDL license (if hired for driving buses) and working with school age children. • •
    • Maintain training hours requirements as outlined by the Division of Child Development
  • Additional Skills (preferred): Playground Safety
