Description of the Position: (Purpose of the Position):
The Norwegian department is seeking an editorial assistant to assist a faculty member with a book manuscript on the Norwegian involvement in the transatlantic slave trade.
The assistant will focus on the citations, footnotes, and bibliography in the Chicago Manual of Style. This position does not require Norwegian or Nordic language knowledge, but it would be helpful.
This position is ideal for a student who is seeking short-term employment for a total of 25-35 hours between August 19-September 9, 2026. Exact work dates and work hours are flexible.
