We're seeking enthusiastic and talented individuals for a summer role providing exceptional service to our customers, helping them meet their financial needs during their banking transactions. You'll be involved with responsibilities including processing deposits, withdrawals and loan payments, identifying opportunities to refer customers to other lines of business, and enhancing customers' relationships with the Bank.

We have positions open in Brunswick, Topsham, Falmouth and Freeport, ME, as well as North Conway, NH!

Qualifications:

  • High school diploma or equivalent work experience
  • Cash handling experience preferred
  • Basic computer fluency
  • Top-notch verbal and written communication skills
  • Positive attitude and ability to adapt to changing circumstances
  • Self-motivated and driven with exemplary engagement
  • Willingness to accept direction/instruction and work well within a team of professionals
  • Exceptional internal and external customer service with demonstrated relationship-building skills

Additional Requirements:

  • Saturday morning availability required
  • Dependable transportation, as position may include travel to other Norway Savings Bank locations
  • Commitment to be available for summer dates ranging from May - Early September.

Working conditions: Physical surroundings are generally pleasant and comfortable with minimal exposure to injury or other hazards. Physical effort required; lifting up to 35 lbs.; reaching, twisting, bending, pushing and pulling; standing for extended periods of time; freedom of movement on a regular basis; handling of materials and supplies.
