This role begins mid-June with an initial duration of 13 weeks or more, providing a consistent schedule of 10-hour day shifts arranged in a 7 days on, 7 days off pattern. The position is ideal for pharmacists with a minimum of one year of inpatient experience who are willing to obtain a Wisconsin temporary license.
Key Responsibilities:

  • Verify medication orders ensuring accuracy and compliance.
  • Supervise pharmacy technicians to maintain efficient workflow.
  • Consult with physicians and nurses regarding medication therapies and patient care.
  • Participate in pharmacokinetic evaluations to optimize dosing.
  • Utilize Cerner IT systems for documentation and communication.
