Summary:  Cleans plant as directed to keep it in safe operating condition.

Duties and Responsibilities include the following:

  • Promote a safe work environment and safe job performance by actively participating in all plant safety programs.
  • Perform general manual labor throughout the Plant and Quarry as directed, including but not limited to shoveling, sweeping, vacuuming, jackhammering, etc.
  • Report any environmental issues and any safety issues/concerns. 
  • Assist in any other activities and perform other duties as assigned. 

Other Important Information:

Preference will be given to students pursuing a post-secondary education.

  1. Applicants must be 18 years of age or older and be registered for full-time attendance in high school or at an accredited college or university.

  2. Students who will be returning to high school for further studies will be prioritized based on their resume submission date for any open positions that can accommodate 2-3 month terms (June, July and August).

  3. Applicants must be available to work the full term as required by the hiring manager.

  4. A maximum of two (2) weeks unpaid vacation will be allowed during the summer and should be requested at the interview whenever possible.

Wage rate is $20.10/hour
