Job description

Help Believe in Me welcome qualified referral and resource partners into a clear, consistent Community Partnership Program serving underserved youth and young people.

We are seeking volunteer Referral Partner Onboarding Specialists to coordinate approved intake, verification, orientation, documentation, and handoff for schools, nonprofits, and service providers.

Responsibilities:

  • Guide prospective partners through approved onboarding steps and required information
  • Verify public organization details, contacts, services, eligibility language, geography, accessibility, and referral instructions
  • Schedule orientations and explain roles, communication, privacy, and escalation expectations
  • Maintain accurate partner records, agreements, training status, resources, and review dates
  • Coordinate questions and approvals with authorized program staff
  • Support directory setup, referral-process testing, and partner handoff
  • Avoid independently approving partners, determining participant eligibility, or promising funding/referrals
  • Track onboarding progress, delays, feedback, and improvements

Qualifications:

  • Experience in onboarding, partnerships, nonprofit programs, provider relations, customer success, administration, or community services
  • Strong organization, communication, documentation, and follow-through
  • Ability to explain processes clearly and protect sensitive information
  • Comfort with CRM, spreadsheets, virtual meetings, and standardized checklists
  • Social-service, school, health, or referral-network experience is helpful

This is a remote, recurring role available within the United States. Expect approximately 3–6 hours per month.
