Job description

Work Model: This is a fully onsite role, with work performed at your designated Regal Rexnord office.

SUMMARY

Will oversee and execute testing procedures. Will conduct necessary process control evaluations, develop methodologies, perform inspections, and analyze test results in compliance with established standards and engineering codes. Will document and report findings from nondestructive testing. This is a second or third shift position.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities

  • Perform Magnetic Particle Inspection in compliance with internal and external requirements.
  • Perform Dye Penetrant Inspection in compliance with internal requirements.
  • Operate coating line of non-stainless ferrous alloys in parallel with NDT inspection.
  • Perform other duties as assigned.

Critical Competencies

  • MT Level 2 certification per ASNT-TC1A and 5QC18-124
  • Knowledge of metals raw material manufacturing processes (Forging, Casting, rolling...)
  • Understand how to read engineering drawings and Geometric Dimensioning and Tolerancing

Education and Experience Requirements

  • High School Diploma or equivalent
  • Must be capable of reading J-1 letters on a standard Jaegers test chart for near vision - natural or corrected
  • Must be capable of reading Jaeger #2 at 12 inches - natural or corrected.
  • Must be able to differentiate colors through color vision test; specifically red/green differentiation

Physical Demand and Work Environment:

Physical demands- Frequent bending, sitting, lifting; consistent standing. Must be able to lift 50lbs.
