About the Role

We are seeking a skilled and motivated Remote Support Engineer to join our dynamic team. In this role, you will provide technical support and troubleshooting assistance to our clients and internal teams, ensuring smooth operation of software and hardware systems. This is a fully remote position based in Indianapolis, IN, offering the flexibility to work from home while collaborating with a diverse group of professionals.

Key Responsibilities
  • Provide timely and effective remote technical support to customers and internal users.
  • Troubleshoot and resolve hardware, software, and network issues.
  • Collaborate with engineering and product teams to escalate and resolve complex technical problems.
  • Document support cases, solutions, and best practices in the knowledge base.
  • Assist with system monitoring, maintenance, and updates as needed.
  • Communicate clearly and professionally with clients and team members via phone, email, and chat.
  • Stay up-to-date with the latest technologies and industry trends relevant to the role.
Qualifications
  • Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or related field, or equivalent experience.
  • 2+ years of experience in technical support, help desk, or related roles.
  • Strong knowledge of Windows and Linux operating systems.
  • Experience with networking concepts such as TCP/IP, DNS, DHCP, VPN, and firewalls.
  • Familiarity with remote support tools and ticketing systems.
  • Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
  • Strong verbal and written communication skills.
  • Ability to work independently and manage multiple priorities in a remote environment.
Preferred Skills
  • Experience with cloud platforms such as AWS, Azure, or Google Cloud.
  • Knowledge of scripting languages like Python, PowerShell, or Bash.
  • Certifications such as CompTIA A+, Network+, or Microsoft Certified Professional.
