As a Residential Property Field Inspector, you will perform exterior residential property inspections that support homeowners insurance underwriting and policy renewals. Inspectors work independently in the field to document property conditions through professional photography and accurate reporting.

Responsibilities

  • Perform residential property inspections for homeowners insurance underwriting and policy renewals.
  • Capture high-quality exterior and property-condition photographs using mobile devices and digital imaging equipment.
  • Document visible property conditions, including roofing, siding, exterior structures, liability hazards, maintenance concerns, and overall curb appeal.
  • Complete digital inspection reports and underwriting questionnaires accurately and efficiently while in the field.
  • Independently manage assigned territories, daily scheduling, routing, and inspection deadlines.
  • Upload inspection reports, photographs, and survey data through designated vendor and insurance carrier platforms.
  • Maintain exceptional attention to detail while following insurance carrier guidelines and documentation standards.
  • Identify and document observable risks that may impact policy eligibility, underwriting decisions, or policy renewals.
  • Conduct all inspections professionally while respecting homeowner privacy and maintaining confidentiality.
