Job description

The Vehicle Logistics Agent Bilingual II is responsible for professionally ensuring customer car purchase and transport inquiries in a high-volume, sales-driven, service-oriented environment occur. This role includes vehicle pick-up and delivery operations, carrier relationships, and timely delivery of purchased vehicles. The role emphasizes providing an exceptional customer experience for both internal and external customers while minimizing transport-related leakage. Vehicle Purchasing experience is responsible for ensuring a great customer experience through various lead channels. Excellence in sales and customer service is the basis of PnP's strategy and organization.
Key Responsibilities:
  • Supports managing the pick-up and delivery of purchased vehicles from pre-winner to final delivery to the PnP site.
  • Provides a great customer experience for both internal stakeholders (employees, management) and external customers.
  • Supports strategies to reduce leakage due to transport issues, ensuring maximum product integrity and customer satisfaction.
  • Supports carrier schedules to ensure timely vehicle pick-up and delivery.
  • Fosters strong partnerships with field buyers to optimize costs and service levels.
  • Supports performance analyses and reporting methodologies.
  • Supports process improvement strategies along with cost efficiencies and ROI analyses on proposed quality improvements.
  • Maintains current and strategic regulatory knowledge, ensuring departmental compliance and employee development.
  • Performs other duties as assigned.

Job Conditions:
Indoor office environment with adequate ventilation. Exposure to moderate noise levels (example: business office environment with computers and printers, light traffic).
Physical Activities Required to Perform Essential Functions:
Ability to: lift and carry up to 10 pounds occasionally; sit for extended periods of time, up to 6-8 hours per day; write by hand and keyboard for extended periods of time, up to 6-8 hours per day; assemble papers, paper punch, staple, file; apply sufficient force to open and close file drawers. Ability to communicate by speech and hearing continuously. Communication is primarily by phone, email and sometimes in person, with other departments within the Company. Visual acuity needed for close detail work, preparing, and analyzing data figures, accounting, and computer use.
Qualifications:
  • Minimum of 1-2 years of experience in inbound/outbound sales or contact center.
  • Prior automotive experience preferred.
  • Bilingual Spanish required.
  • Familiarity with Windows, Outlook, Microsoft Word, Excel, CAD Software, and other software tools.
  • Successful completion of all required training for Vehicle Logistics Agent level I and II.
