Lab Support, Additive Manufacturing & Ideation
Department: Additive Manufacturing
Location: Manufacturing Technology Center
Reports To: Program Manager, Engineering II

Work Schedule: No more than 20 hours per week M-F between 8:30 AM - 5:00 PM. Some evening and weekend hours.
Job Description:
SUMMARY
Responsible for helping with daily activities in the Fab Lab and 3D printing labs.
ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS
  • Provides technical support for lab equipment.
  • Monitors and assists visitors in lab.
  • Works on projects for external and internal customers.
  • Receives and stores supplies.
  • Performs other duties as assigned.

REQUIRED QUALIFICATIONS
EDUCATION AND EXPERIENCE/TRAINING
  • High school diploma or GED
  • Ability to work in a team environment.
  • Ability to work with student populations from a variety of ages and backgrounds.

KNOWLEDGE, SKILLS, and ABILITIES
  • Possess excellent written, verbal, and interpersonal communication skills.

This is aPart-Time Non-Bargaining Unit Position, with the following Set Rate of Pay: $15.60/hour.
