Job description

Our Company

SpecialtyRx is a Long-Term Care pharmacy providing pharmaceutical servicesto long term care facilities and assisted living communities. SpecialtyRx takes pride in delivering personalized care and quality pharmacy services.

Responsibilities

  • Experience working non-sterile drugs
  • Perform general cleaning and maintenance duties as directed
  • Assist in setup of the non-sterile, equipment and supplies for preparation of non-sterile solutions
  • Mixed and package non-sterile medications
  • Assist in processing returned drugs and recycle/dispose per procedure
  • Package fill and ship medications
  • Team player and collaborate with others to support the goals of the pharmacy
  • Responsible for pharmacy standards, maintained and adherence policies
  • Complies with departmental policies regarding safety, attendance, and dress code.
  • Complete any other task assigned by the Floor Manager & Pharmacist In Charge
  • Team player and collaborate with others to support the goals of the pharmacy
  • Complete any other task assigned by the supervisor

Qualifications

  • Licensed FL Pharmacy Technician required
  • PTCB certified preferred
  • Previous IV pharmacy experience preferred
  • Previous data entry experience preferred
  • Ability to stand for extended periods and perform repetitive tasks
  • Must be reliable and execute multiple tasks assigned
  • Good organizational skills and detail oriented
  • Ability to physically perform light lifting

Shift:

  • 2:30pm-11:00pm
