Role Overview: The Manager, Client Engagement, is responsible for activating strategic account plans - helping ensure roadmaps established with clients and Operations translate into coordinated action, measurable value, and sustained momentum. Serving as the connector between client strategy, Operations, and CCL support resources, this role coordinates the people and resources needed to deliver against account priorities, tracks commitments, addresses barriers, and maintains accountability across workstreams.

  • Strategic account plan activation and value delivery
  • Cross-functional resource coordination
  • Progress tracking, accountability, and barrier resolution
  • Retention, proposal, and recompete support
  • Strategy session, SWOT, and SBR preparation and follow-through

Key Responsibilities

Strategic Account Activation & Value Delivery

  • Translate strategic account priorities and recommendations into actionable work plans.
  • Coordinate implementation of client roadmaps and strategic initiatives.
  • Connect operators with the appropriate CCL and Compass resources to advance account objectives.
  • Track milestones, deliverables, commitments, and outcomes across workstreams.
  • Identify and escalate barriers, coordinate solutions, and maintain momentum.
  • Help capture and communicate the value delivered through strategic initiatives.

Client Engagement & Strategy Support

  • Support preparation for client strategy sessions, SWOTs, SBRs, and account planning meetings.
  • Develop and maintain strategic account plans, roadmaps, and follow-through activities.
  • Coordinate stakeholder engagement across client, Operations, and support teams.
  • Support implementation of recommendations generated through account reviews and strategy sessions.

Proposal Development & Retention Support

  • Partner with CCS Proposal Services on retention efforts, recompetes, and strategic account proposals.
  • Coordinate contributions from Operations, Finance, Culinary, Marketing, E15, The Hub, and other support teams.
  • Gather client insights, success stories, references, and supporting documentation.
  • Track timelines and support submission readiness, client presentations, and executive summaries.

Cross-Functional Coordination

  • Maintain project plans, action trackers, status updates, meeting notes, and project records.
  • Facilitate recurring meetings and coordinate communication across stakeholders.
  • Engage subject matter experts and coordinate implementation support.
  • Maintain accurate Salesforce activity and records to support visibility and compliance.

Qualifications & Experience

  • 3+ years of experience in client success/retention, sales/business development, project management, consulting in in hospitality, senior living, foodservice or related service-based industries.
  • Strong project management skills with the ability to coordinate multiple stakeholders, workstreams, timelines, and deliverables.
  • Excellent PowerPoint and written communication skills, with the ability to develop polished, client-ready presentations and materials.
  • Highly organized, detail-oriented, and able to manage multiple priorities with strong follow-through.
  • Strong interpersonal skills and professionalism when working with operators, senior leaders, clients, and cross-functional teams.
  • Proficiency with Microsoft Office; experience with Salesforce, Smartsheet, or similar tools preferred.
