Job Summary:
We are seeking an Advisory Manager to join our CFO Advisory Services practice-someone who thrives in complex, evolving environments and brings structure, clarity, and forward momentum when it matters most.
This role is ideal for a consulting-minded professional who excels at entering unstructured or high-pressure finance environments, quickly diagnosing what's not working, designing thoughtful solutions, and leading hands-on execution alongside clients. Our CFO Advisory team partners closely with finance leaders, boards, and audit committees during periods of growth, transformation, and transaction activity.
Duties & Responsibilities:
  • Entering complex or ambiguous finance environments to assess challenges across people, processes, data, and systems
  • Provide strategic financial leadership to clients, including providing interim services such as Head of Finance or Controller for organizations without dedicated finance leadership
  • Identifying root-cause issues and translating them into clear, pragmatic, and executable solutions
  • Leading and delivering engagements across key Office of the CFO service areas, including:
    • Transaction readiness and execution support (buy-side and sell-side)
    • Finance advisory and transformation, including financial operations, process redesign, standardization, and optimization
    • Management, external, and board-level reporting improvements
  • Supporting CFOs with board and audit committee communications, including financial reporting readiness, audit support, and executive-level insights
  • Serving as the day-to-day engagement lead, managing scope, timelines, and client expectations
  • Working side-by-side with client teams to ensure solutions designed, implemented and sustained
  • Coaching and developing consultants and senior associates
  • Building strong, trust-based relationships with CFOs, Controllers, board members, and executive stakeholders
  • Contributing to practice growth through client expansion, solution development, and thought leadership

Education & Experience:
  • 6+ years of experience in CFO Advisory, Transaction Advisory, Management Consulting, FP&A leadership, Finance Transformation, or Public Accounting
  • Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, Business Administration, or a related field required
  • CPA or Master's degree (MBA, MAcc, or MS in Finance) required
  • Strong foundation in accounting, finance operations, and financial reporting from previous consulting or industry experience required
  • Experience supporting CFO-level initiatives such as finance transformation, transactions, or regulatory readiness desired
  • Proven ability to lead client engagements and manage multiple workstreams
  • Experience developing and mentoring junior team members
