Pay Rate: $5,650/mo DOE

Provide upgrades and implement new System technology as necessary. Implement, maintain, support, develop and design servers within the organization. Prepare for disaster recovery. Ensure high availability and continually improve operational processes. May supervise computer administrators and/or user support specialists.

Job Description
  • Provide system administration technical support for the Windows server systems in a multi-platform environment (On Premise, Physical and Virtual, VMware, Citrix, Horizon)
  • Provide guidance to the utilization of the Windows Operating System (OS) in the architecture.
  • Provide technical support on current Supporting versions of Windows servers, system analyst support and configuration.
  • Provide consulting and technical advice and problem resolution for development of application programs and system interfaces.
  • Continuously document and share system information with fellow associates as configuration, program or technical changes are made or occur.

Qualifications

Requirements:

  • 2+ Experiences as a Windows Systems Engineer.
  • Advanced skills in PowerShell Script is a must
  • Strong experience Windows clustering, AD and Windows Server Update Services and support
  • Strong technical aptitude and ability to research and solve complex issues independently
  • Ability to work well without supervision and collaborate with a team on various projects

Preferred Skills:

  • Experience with Backup solutions (NetBackup, Legato and Avamar)
  • Experience with Storage solutions (PowerPlex, PowerVault, islion, NetApp, Pure Storage)
  • Experiences on iDRAC, iLO, BMC (Baseboard Management Controllers)
