Equiliem is seeking a local contract nurse RN OR - Operating Room for a local contract nursing job in Neptune City, New Jersey.

Job Summary:
Primarily responsible for applying the nursing process to the care of veteran patients undergoing surgical procedures in the operating room.
-This includes, but is not limited to, assuring that appropriate documentation reflects assessment of patient needs, interdisciplinary treatment plans, clinical intervention, and evaluation of patients' responses to treatments.
-Also responsible for assigning and evaluating the work of non-nursing direct care providers assigned to the operating room.
 

Required Skills & Experience:
-Minimum qualifications required for services:
-Clinical knowledge and analytical abilities necessary to formulate effective nursing care plans.
-Ability to perform a wide variety of professional nursing services.
-Ability to effectively communicate with patients, families, and hospital personnel.

Preferred Skills & Experience:
-N/A

Float Requirement: To ASC as needed

Must have level I Trauma Experience

Scrub is a plus

Must do endovascular, spine, neuro, ortho, ortho trauma

Required Education:
-ASN

-NJ State Professional Registered Nurse license or multi-state compact license

Preferred Certifications & Licensure:
