Palm Beach Health Network - Tenet is seeking a Registered Nurse (RN) Float Assistant Manager for a nursing job in Riviera Beach, Florida.

The Ancillary Program Coordinator collaborates with facility/market leadership and staff across departments to facilitate training for ancillary non-nursing personnel as indicated or requested. The Coordinator acts as a key resource in the hiring and placement of externs. The Coordinator collaborates with recruiting, academic partners, and leaders to assure ongoing succession planning, placement in hard to fill positions, completion of orientation, and ongoing communication with ancillary leadership in the Palm Beach Market. The Coordinator implements a comprehensive immersion program to develop Ancillary  externs to facilitate ongoing cohorts of externs to fill ancillary positions. The Coordinator manages student rotations and affiliation agreements to ensure students are selected appropriately and each discipline has a full complement of students. Other services may include, but are not limited to process, performance and contributions to the organization through councils, committees and workgroups. The Ancillary Coordinator is responsible for lab, therapy, radiology, respiratory, surgical tech and others as needed. This involves working with each program, establishing affiliation agreements with schools, facilitating externships for each of the programs, working with the PBHN hospitals (Lab Directors, Radiology/Imaging Directors, Therapy Directors, etc.) to place students in extern roles.  

The Ancillary  Coordinator is responsible for researching, planning and executing effective strategies and programs that will lead to enhanced retention, extern training, development and success while creating a structure that will increase the extern hiring capacity within the Palm Beach Healthcare Network. The Ancillary Coordinator will facilitate hiring of externs through their time PBHN facilities and establish a funnel of talent to hire after graduation. 

EDUCATION:

Minimum: Clinical Ancillary licensure or licensed Registered Nurse in the state of Florida .

EXPERIENCE:

Minimum: Experience in healthcare education/training in clinical/ancillary setting with past supervision experience. Three years years’ experience in patient care.  

REQUIRED CERTIFICATION/LICENSURE/REGISTRATION:

Current American Heart Association (AHA) BLS  

OTHER QUALIFICATIONS:

Excellent human relations and/or written communication skills. Supervisory experience preferred.  Must be able to function as an educational resource.
