Join Our Team!

We are seeking a motivated, organized, focused Heavy Equipment Service Writer to join our growing team. This position serves as the primary liaison between our service technicians, ensuring repairs are accurately documented, efficiently scheduled.

If you have experience in heavy equipment, construction equipment, agricultural equipment, diesel trucks, or fleet maintenance and enjoy working in a fast-paced environment, we'd like to hear from you.

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES

  • Open, maintain, and close repair work orders
  • Schedule and prioritize repairs with service technicians
  • Prepare repair estimates
  • Communicates repair status, timelines, and recommendations
  • Coordinate parts availability with the parts department
  • Review technician notes and completed work orders for accuracy
  • Process warranty claims when applicable
  • Prepare completed work orders for invoicing
  • Maintain organized service records and files.

QUALIFICATIONS

  • Previous experience as a Service Writer, Service Advisor, or in the heavy equipment, construction, agricultural, trucking or diesel repair industry preferred
  • Working knowledge of heavy equipment systems, diesel engines, hydraulics, and preventative maintenance
  • Strong communication
  • Excellent organizational and multitasking ab
  • Computer proficiency
  • Ability to work independently and as a team
  • Strong attention to detail
  • Valid driver's license
