Job description

BIOLYPH is seeking an experienced, team-oriented, and responsive Inventory Control Associate. This full-time position offers starting pay of $26.50 per hour with milestone increases, a 4-day-a-week schedule, competitive benefits, and a culture of life-work balance.

This position is responsible for ordering, receiving, pulling, counting, and shipping Client and BIOLYPH inventory and non-inventory items. The chosen candidate will be proficient in forklift operation and have strong attention to detail to produce BIOLYPH’s quality standard of Perfect Finished Parts. This will be done in alignment with BIOLYPH’s business model of producing our Clients’ IVD/RUO products Effectively, Efficiently, and Economically.

Essential Functions:

  • Receive supplies and packages, including
    • Inventoried and Non-inventoried items
    • Packaging components
    • Damaged parts/wrong parts
    • Chemistry
    • Excipient
  • Completing required documentation.
  • Pull inventory.
  • Put inventory away.
  • Cycle counting inventory.
  • Reconcile inventory.
  • Maintain order in warehouse and shipping and receiving.
  • Track supply inventory :
    • PPE, commonly used consumables, etc.
    • Advising appropriate personnel to order as needed.
  • Oversee disposal of weekly trash and recycling.
  • Fill in positions in Production as needed.

Qualifications:

  • High School Diploma or equivalent.
  • Prior forklift experience in a warehouse environment.
  • Ability to pass classroom and practical forklift test.
  • Demonstrated ability to work independently.
  • Ability to read, write, and understand English.
  • Ability to learn quickly in a fast paced environment.
  • Ability to develop an understanding of process flow and resources within the organization.
  • Strong communication, attention to detail, organization, and problem-solving skills.

Other Requirements:

  • Ability to read, write, and understand English.
  • Must be able to wear appropriate PPE.
  • Ability to sit for extended periods of time.
  • Normal vision acuity (with or without corrective lenses).
  • Ability to identify and distinguish colors.
  • Ability to lift 10 lbs routinely/often/occasionally.
  • Ability to crouch, bend, twist and reach.
  • Ability to push/pull 25 lbs occasionally.
