Locums - Delaware Non-Invasive Cardiology Opportunity (IMLC Accepted)

Clinical Role

Join a growing cardiology program in Delaware providing inpatient non-invasive cardiology services with transesophageal echocardiography (TEE) coverage. This locums opportunity is ideal for a flexible, team-oriented cardiologist who enjoys collaborating with Advanced Practice Clinicians (APCs) and mentoring new providers while supporting an expanding cardiovascular program.

Assignment Details

Start Date:

Approximately six weeks from credentialing

Initial Coverage Period:

October 1, 2026 - November 15, 2026

Contract Length:

Initial six-week assignment

Potential for ongoing full-time assignments ranging from three to six months

Coverage Requirements:

Minimum of one week of coverage per month, including one weekend

Future full-time opportunities may become available due to practice growth and anticipated retirements

Schedule:

Monday through Friday

8:00 AM - 4:30 PM

Weekend call with inpatient rounding

Call Schedule:

One weekend of call per month

One to two weekday nights of call per week

Hospital rounding

Mentoring and teaching newly onboarded Advanced Practice Clinicians
