Job description

General Summary The F&B Associate works on a part-time basis, preparing and selling food. The individual must stock light inventory, operate a cash register, count cash, clean work areas, prepare and serve fast food items to the general public. In addition, a well-groomed sanitary presentation is required.

Requirements and Job Specifications High school diploma or equivalent. Valid LA Class E driver's license (Liquor license if required) General experience in food service industry, customer service and retail services. minimal mathematical skill is required to count change, perform addition, subtraction, multiplication, and division.

Functions and Duties This is a routine position in souvenir shop stands, snack bars and concession stands, reporting to the Concessions Supervisor. Duties include, but are not limited to: Storing, taking inventory, stocking and selling food and non-food items. Cleaning and sanitizing work areas: tables, chairs, countertops, storage areas and floors.

Preparing and serving food according to standardized practice, adhering to BREC sanitary standards and health and safety regulations. Cleaning and maintaining displays. Operating electronic cash register, counting and remitting cash receipts, opening and locking up shop or stand.

Mopping floor, unloading, and shifting supplies. The concession clerk must be able to follow routine food preparation and service procedures, and to carry out simple instruction form the supervisor. Supplemental Information As scheduled, up to 29 hours per week of rotating days including evening and weekend work as required.
