Description:
Anticipated Assistant Principal for ABLE Program serving students with multiple disabilities.ย ย 

Job Summary:
Assist the Program Principal in the general administration practices and policies of special education programs.
Conduct IEP meetings, staff meetings, parent meetings.
Qualifications:
Master's Degree in Educational Leadership, Special Education or another Specialized Area
Illinois General Administrative License; and LBS1 or DHH or VI License OR School Service Personnel ย 
Prior supervisory experience in an educational settingย or special education case manager preferred.
Will consider applicants with special education experience who are currently finishing a Principalship or Special Education Administrator Program.
Working Conditions:
260 Day work year.ย  Excellent working conditions. Working in collaboration as part of a team to serve our special students.

Selection Procedure:

Salary Range begins atย $75,000 for 12 month employmentย and is negotiated by the board based upon prior paid administrative experience; Board Paid TRS and considerable contributions to Family Health Insurance.ย  Personal Days: 3; Sick Days 13; Vacation Days 20 for 12 month employment.ย  Considerable on the job training and ability to attend professional development to advance career is provided.
